About the Journal

El-Qudwah: Journal of Islamic Educational Management and Leadership is an peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing scholarship in the field of Islamic educational management and leadership. The term "El-Qudwah" is derived from the Arabic word al-qudwah (القدوة), meaning exemplary model, role model, or leadership by example. In the context of Islamic education, El-Qudwah reflects the principle that educational leaders are expected to inspire positive transformation through integrity, professionalism, ethical conduct, and the embodiment of Islamic values in institutional governance.

Guided by this philosophical foundation, the journal focuses on the development of transformative approaches to the management and leadership of Islamic educational institutions. It provides a scholarly forum for research on innovative governance, strategic leadership, educational policy, organizational development, quality assurance, human resource management, curriculum leadership, digital transformation, and sustainable institutional improvement in Islamic schools, madrasahs, pesantren, and higher education institutions.

The journal emphasizes how visionary, adaptive, and value-based leadership can foster inclusive learning environments, strengthen teacher professionalism, improve educational quality, and respond effectively to contemporary social and technological changes while maintaining the integration of Islamic ethical and spiritual principles. Through interdisciplinary perspectives and evidence-based research, El-Qudwah aims to contribute to the advancement of theory, policy, and practice in Islamic educational management and leadership at both national and international levels.
